Massimiliano Fiorini received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in physics at the University of Ferrara. He was later employed as fellow at CERN, post-doctoral fellow at the Université Catholique de Louvain and then staff at CERN.

Dr. Oswald Siegmund is a Senior Space Fellow at the CAL Berkeley Space Sciences Laboratory and has worked there since receiving his Ph.D. from The University College London in 1982. He has specialized in development of photon counting

Sergio Gomez received his M.S. degree in Telecommunication Engineering in 2009 and his PhD degree in Electronics in 2014 both from UPC. From May 2014, he joined the instrumentation team at the ICCUB.
